BSA Alumni Connection: Scouting alumni are former Scouts, but also the supportive family members, dedicated volunteers and professionals, and the tens of millions of Americans that benefit from Scouting in their communities every day. This cache is to honor people from around the world who support youth in the pursuit of excellence for their efforts.

The Hawkeye Area Council, Boy Scouts of America annually serves more than 7,000 youth in Benton, Cedar, Iowa, Linn, Johnson, Jones and Washington counties. The mission of the Boy Scouts of America is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetime by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law.
