Geocache Description:

We Will Rock You : Chic name of a place

Sensaibashi Bridge is a bridge that is in the central portion of the Nagano Prefecture Matsumoto city, and hangs in Metobagawa river that flows in the Matsumoto town.
There was a major gate of Matsumoto Castle in this circumference in Edo period.
It is the remaining influences that the road is like a "crunk" now.

The town postponed from the major gate front to the west along Metobagawa river is Rokku-cho.

This mysterious name originates because there is stabling for lord Matsumoto in this place before, and 54 horses were kept there.
At that time, this stabling was called Rokku stablings.
( ”Rokku" is 69 in Japanese.
Because 54 horses were kept It seems to have been read as "Rokku" with 54 = 6x9. )
Afterwards, stabling was burnt due to a fire, and the warehouse and the house were built here.

The arcade was here as Rokku-cho shopping street, too and the shop ranged in recent years though it was small.
The roof was removed afterwards, and the atmosphere of the street changed, too.

Cache was the entrance of Rokku-cho, and it set it up in the mark at a major gate.

千歳橋は、長野県松本市の中心部にあり、
松本市街を流れる女鳥羽川に掛かる橋です。
江戸時代はこの周辺には松本城の大手門がありました。
現在も道が鍵の手になっているのはその名残です。

大手門前から西に女鳥羽川に沿って延びる街が六九町です。
この不思議な名前の由来は、以前この場所に松本城主のための馬屋があり、そこに５４頭の馬が飼われていたためです。
当時はこの馬屋は六九馬屋とも呼ばれていました。
その後、馬屋は火事で焼けてしまい、ここには蔵や町屋が建てられました。

近年はここは六九町商店街としてアーケードもあり、小さいながら商店が連なっていましたが、屋根はその後取り払われ、通りの雰囲気も変わりました。

キャッシュはその六九町の入り口であり、大手門の跡に設置しました。
