Look for parking opportunity on the east side of the highway bridge, located to the right when travelling from Borden, to the left when travelling from Charlottetown direction. Watch the traffic, you will be turning off a busy highway. Please watch your step when walking on the rocks along the river!! Stealth required especially during fishing season!
The Bonshaw River is known by fly fishers as a great place to catch sea trout and salmon during angling season. The cache is in honor of the mighty Atlantic Salmon (Salmo Salar) that migrates up the stream during spring summer and fall.
The cache is a small camo container containing a log book pencil and a film container with 14 of my own tied salmon flies. Please take a fly, but replace it with one of yours! Look for a sandstone rock that is out of place!!
Practice catch and release with barbless hooks!!!!
