timrs2001: According to the Captain it appears that this one has been sabotaged by some scurvy dogs.
Nice.
Ah well. This one had a good run and it got you folks out to our cool little Village walking trail.
Someone else can put a new one in here if they like.

Geocache Description:

The newest and final part of the New Maryland walking trail.

There are so many cliches and phrases involving bridges that I could have used for the cache name but decided on this one to keep things interesting.
It's taken more than 4 years at this but the final piece of the New Maryland walking trail is finally complete with yesterday's ceremony and official ribbon cutting of this suspension bridge.
And what a great suspension bridge it is!
Thanks to contributions of time, materials, labour and fundraising efforts this was built in record time and looks fantastic.

I was going to include a photo of the bridge here but decided against it. I would rather let you see it in person to appreciate how cool it is.

The cache is an ammo can generously donated by Sportsman a while ago.
It's loaded with all kinds of toys and stuff.

The terrain is very easy getting here but please watch your step reaching the cache.
**If you happen to see something damaged or needing attention on the trail please let me know so that we can take care of it right away.**
Thanks for visiting our trail and the Village of New Maryland!
Please come back soon and bring your friends and family with you.
