The Christmas Tree is a way of brightening up (and probably
confusing) the regular dogwalkers and families who come out and
stretch their legs in the area.
When set up, it had just one piece of tinsel. During December, we
want all cachers to bring a tree decoration with them to add to the
display, so that in a few weeks, it was be a sight to behold!
At the base of the tree is a micro, with coords for the final
cache, hidden just a very short walk away. The final cache has a
card for all visitors (and leave one one for future cachers), as
well as the usual logbook. I've put the logbook from last years one
there too, just to bring back memories. Don't fill in the wrong
one.
Come back on the 6th January for
12th Night at the Tree, to take down the decorations, share
mince pies and mulled wine with other mad people who don't feel the
cold!
