A tree-lined cache and dash with a fine vista of the Pentland Hills.
This area caught my eye as a fantastic potential cache site as I passed it on the way to find another, and there is even a little layby in which to park if you’re driving here. It is a relatively busy road, so take care when leaving the vehicle. Admire the view but not so much that you overlook a bit of wire to negotiate, including barbed. I tried to move it, but it seems to be part of the scenery.
It would make a good night cache, but take special care for that very reason. You’ll miss the views of course, but I wouldn’t be surprised if there is good nightlife here – owl discos, squirrel bingo and the like!
The container is a cylindrical clip-locking tub with various goodies and for now, my first geocoin.
