Welcome to the
Lowveld.
The Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport, also
referred to as KMIA, is the official port of entry of Mpumalanga,
situated in the heart of the Lowveld (23 km's from Nelspruit and 14
km's from White River), in close proximity to many scenic, heritage
and conservation sites. The famous Kruger National Park is a mere
30 minute car drive from the airport.
Other attractions in the Mpumalanga area are the Blyde
River Canyon Nature Reserve - the 3rd largest canyon in the world,
God’s Window, the Bourkes Luck Potholes, the waterfalls of
scenic Sabie and Graskop and the historical towns of
Pilgrim’s Rest and Barberton.
Nearby White River and Nelspruit has excellent infrastructure
with world-class hotels and 5-star country lodges.
Enjoy the Lowveld of Mpumalanga.
