Twelfth in a series of "Quacked-Up!" Rubber Ducky
Holidays!
Well folks .. here is number 12. It has been a great caching
year for me and the ducks. I have truly enjoyed putting out these
duck caches for you, and enjoyed all the comments in the logs and
face to face. There may yet be a few duck caches up my sleeve
but this is the last for this series! Please enjoy!
Cache is a LARGE
lock n lock I have filled with Christmas and winter themed
Rubber Duckies.
There are Santas and reindeer and carolers,
some smaller elves and snowmen .. and more, all just waiting for
good homes.
Feel free to grab a duck to take home to celebrate this special
time with you and your family. There are no clues to collect,
just a duck to adopt if you wish. These ducks ARE trade
items. Please leave a trade in their place so we don't end up with
a big container with just a log book. I will get out and refill a
couple of times and put out a smaller container at some
point.
The area where I placed
the cache is near where I found my very first cache all by
myself. That cache was recently archived so I found a place
nearby where a larger container would fit. Please re-hide well as I
did see some evidence of partying nearby. The cache should be
accessible all winter unless we have a very heavy snowfall.
Approach from the trail side. There are Lollypop Farms posted signs
up, as there are throughout all the trails on their property. So
please respect the area, stop in and see the animals and maybe
bring home a new friend to geocache with (not sure how well the
bunnies would do at that though). There is parking available
at Egypt Park (when gates are open and during posted
hours) OR at Lollypop Farm OR at the trail-head on Victor
Road.
Stay with the theme if you can,
but any trade is just fine.
Please just one duck per person or
caching family!
Travel bugs and coins
always welcome! Bring the family, kids will especially like the
holiday caches (and the ducks).
