Oak Tree Corner Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

magwai: Looks like this one is gone [:(]

If it was muggled rather than moved by animals whoever took/moved it's more than likely they will come back to the same spot to see if anything has been put in its place.

With this in mind I don't usually replace "muggled" ca ches so this one will be put to bed.

Thank you everyone who visited

Geocache Description:

I have passed this tree often and thought it was about time a cache was placed there (as well as a few more in the vicinity)

Situated very close to the A38, this is an odd little area of greenery with a large oak tree standing proudly.

If you look around you, there is evidence that this used to be a field, now sadly gone due to the development of roads and houses over the decades.

Recommended parking is very close by (enough room for two cars, depending on size) or should you wish to reduce your carbon footprint, Arriva 7 (Lichfield to Burton) the bus stops just before The Anchor public house.

You are looking for a 1 litre plastic container in a fabric drawstring bag containing initially, logbook, pencil, FTF certificate and some swaps Geokids like so much. Cover is by stickoflage, please cover as well as if not better than you found it. Thank you

As with all busy areas please take care of Geokids, Geohounds and of course yourselves

I have a hunch who will be FTF, let's see if I shall be proved correct

FTF Barking Frog - A well deserved FTF and your 400th Cache
STF Ghost House Three
TTF nbquidditch
