This cache used to be named Dragon Shack and was a multi-cache with the first cache being a redirector under a deer blind (the “shack”) with additional hints to find the final offset cache. Since the deer blind had been removed and the redirector had gone missing in multiple locations, we changed this just to an offset cache. Now it seems like the dragon has acquired a taste for our caches -- he can devour them, but not himself. Since the dragon is very photogenic, we are now making it a virtual cache. We found this location of interest a few years ago and wanted to share. From the listed coordinates, you should be able to locate the dragon and take a picture of its mouth. Please do not post the pictures -- just e-mail them to us and claim your smiley. Good luck!
Because the dragon lost much of its skin, we added a hint, but try to go without it and use some imagination.
The best place to park for this cache is a 30o 21.875 W 097o 54.591, picking up the trail at this point for an almost half-mile hike. Depending on the season, bug spray may come in handy.
