CWC - Calke Walk Cache : This is a series of caches that take in the The National Forest walk called “ Calke Walk” a number caches are placed along this walk . You can download the”Calke Walk” map from this site http://www.nationalforest.org/document/visitor/calke_walk.pdf
please note it is the old 4.5 mile walk not the new 5.25mile ( big dotted line ) might be room for more caches on this walk in 2010 !!
This is a Small clip top lid container camouflaged with ivy print containing log book , Pencil & a few Swaps please hide well WATCH OUT for thorns !
this one could be a drive-by cache or part of the CWC
Parking is available at both Staunton Harold Reservoir (parking charge )And free parking at Ticknall Village Hall on Ingleby Lane.( this is the one we used )
enjoy the 4 mile walk with a stop at Staunton Harold Reservoir .
