Geocache Description:

Forget Ya Rod here as the fish here to target is Flounder and Flathead in the shallows .

Unlikely to catch a Flounder on a hook as their mouth is too small , so a hand held spear with no barbs and no more than 2 prongs are allowed if you have a fishing licence . Flounder and Flathead are caught at night in calm water, they can be easily seen with a prawning light . They come into the shallows to feed on the Tube Worms. Winter is also a good time to fish for Flounder Minimum size is 23 cm and bag / possession limit is 20 and Flathead ( all species exept Dusky Flathead ) is 27 cm and 20 bag / possession limit at time of placing the cache .


Cache is a 200 ml sistema container and is in a " off the leash "
dog walking area and next to a bike track with fast moving
