Geocache Description:

This little series was inspired by the ‘God’s Acre’ series in the Isle of Man.
Hopefully they will be a bit of a challenge! Take a pen or pencil and paper to write down the clue on the back of the log. To find the Bonus cache you will need to find clues in :
God’s Acre Norton Canon,
God’s Acre Byford and
God’s Acre Weobley. God's acre Weobley is now a premium members only cache. To log it if you are not a premium member, contact me and I'll tell you how!

Please show respect when searching for the cache; there is no need to climb or walk over graves.
Each cache in this series is a different type of hide. The main tools you need for finding this cache are your eyes and not your hands!
Beware of muggles on Sunday mornings!
Thanks to the vicar and PCC for granting permission to place this cache.
Once there has been a FTF we will be happy to give clues if you are finding this one difficult!
The Churchyard is God's acre - a sanctuary for wildlife, a haven for many plants and cared for accordingly. As well as being a sanctuary in which to remember the departed it is also a sanctuary for the living. It is an opportunity to rejoice in the abundance of God's creation over which we have been given responsibility.
The western part of the chancel, the eastern part of the nave and one north window formed the original Norman church.
In c1190 a three east bay south arcade was added. In the thirteenth century the building was extended with the addition of a new south doorway, a square south chapel with a two-bay arcade comprising of two tall lancet windows, there is another shorter in length in the north wall.
There are two more bays to the west, these have wider arches and moulded capitals. The chancel was also doubled in length.
The west tower was added in 1717.
