Geocache Description:

Obscure Songs I Like:
Santa

The title of the song is Chiron Beta Prime. Yes, it's a holiday song. Happy Holidays, whichever ones you choose to celebrate!

The cache is not at the coordinates, although they are necessary information to find the cache. Read the details below to solve the puzzle and find the cache. DO NOT GO TO THE POSTED COORDINATES.

Obscure Songs I Like: A series of caches dedicated to songs you probably haven't heard of, by obscure people. Usually the music is available for you to hear for free on the Internet. It's probably not actually necessary to have heard the song to find the cache, but it won't hurt. In some cases, the cache location reflects the song... in other cases, this is less so.

For this cache, you will need information from the song to find the cache, so you'll probably want to listen to it. You can hear Jonathan Coulton performing this obscure song at YouTube (with a cartoony video), or at YouTube (performed live), or find lyrics and guitar tabs for the song at his website. When solving the puzzle, use the information from the song itself, not from any particular video or image. It's the song that counts.

To actually find the cache you do not need to go to the point given in the coordinates above. Indeed, DO NOT GO THERE, as it is private property. Instead, compute two numbers as follows:

Take the first word that the robot says, and compute a number from it by adding together the numerical values of all the letters in it, as A=1, Z=26. For example, if the word was "XMAS" then the value would be 24 + 13 + 1 + 19 = 57. But the word is something else, so compute the correct value instead. Then multiply that number by the number of letters in the color of Santa's glowing eyes. Subtract the product you just computed from the lowest digits of the north coordinate as given above.
West: Take the second word that the robot says and compute a numerical value in the same manner as before, but this time don't multiply it by anything. Subtract that value from the lowest digits of the west coordinate as given above.

The above computation should take you to the location of a microcache, hidden in a very customary manner.

The area is very busy during business hours... the cache is probably a drive-up if done late in the evening, but, especially during business hours, take appropriate precautions not to give away the location of the cache to muggles. You are in the direct line-of-sight of several muggles if you are finding this cache during the day, so come at off-hours for a much easier time. Regardless of this warning, the cache is accessible 24/7; just be stealthy, or you'll be found bad, and you don't want that.

"... Not everybody's good but everyone tries...."
