Brrr, the water is cold! Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

bittsen: Well, someone found a free ammo can or the water rose higher than I anticipated.
Either way, this cache is gone.
Thanks to all who looked for it. If you logged a DNF, you can relog as a smiley.

Geocache Description:

Cache has a great view of Crown Point from the base.

I'm not kidding, the water is cold here, especially when you are walking across the ice to hide the cache and you break through. Yeah, the water is serious cold.

The temp was below 20 degrees when I hid the cache.

Maybe in the Summer it won't be so cold. Right?

This might be a pretty easy cache for some people. It might be difficult for others. I suppose it could depend on how you approach the cache location and how high the water is when you look for it. I don't expect a time when you would need special equipment, like a boat, so the terrain isn't listed as a 5. The container is waterproof so no worries there.

Please return the cache to it's hiding spot so others can enjoy the find as well.
