A short pond side walk along the trails in Titlow Park.
The day we hid this cache was during the first cold snap of the Winter of 2009. The pond was frozen over, and we had a blast watching a couple of dogs chase ducks and geese across the ice, slipping and sliding, like Bambi.
There are a couple different trails that you can take to reach this cache, though none of them will take you very far out of the way. It shouldn't be but a 10minute or so walk from the parking lot to get to this, at most. It has been noted that while some of the trails may be more direct, the (only slightly) longer ones may offer a bit less resistance from plants that want to reach out and grab you.
Titlow is a great little beach and park, and I'm happy to have been able to place our first cache here. Bring your own pen, as the container is a small camouflaged pill bottle with no writing utensil inside.
FTF gets... to see some sticks that my boys, Thing One and Thing Two tossed out onto the surface of the ice.

PLEASE BE CAREFUL WHEN PARKING IN THIS AREA - The lots here have been a very popular spot for car prowls / break ins for a little while now. The upper TOA lot seems to be particularly prone to smash and grabs.
