Geocache Description:


Enjoy a drive in the beautiful Pohangina Valley, near Palmerston North, Manawatu.
This cache is located beside the track on the Kahikatea Walk, accessed from a roadside parking area, well up the valley on the Pohangina Valley East Rd.
Follow an undulating track through the DOC native bush reserve, encountering on the way a magnificent stand of kahikatea. The walk is a loop track, taking 20 - 30 minutes.
The cache is a small tin box containing a log and several trinkets.
