You are looking for a radiant GOLDEN Ammo Can.
Deer trails lead you through minor bushwacking.
On Oct. 12th, 2008, Grandzero & I were trekking through Webster Park we came upon a set of inconspicuous lady cachers & their geo-dog who were "Celebrating Tander's 1000th find" (GC17PMM).
We befriended them as we thought they may have been in geo-distress. Then began a marvelous friendship with our 2 favorite "SISTER" cachers, no-sleep & odhome !!!
Since that day we have been on various caching adventures including a memorable numbers run of 75 autographs in Buffalo this past fall. Interestingly, our numbers run took place 364 days from our first encounter.
The time has come to honor "no-sleep & odhome" with a commemorative GOLDEN ammo can hidden in charming Kent Park. May it be known that no-sleep has recently eclipsed the millenium goal of 1000 finds while odhome is racing along close behind. Please come help us celebrate these 2 wonderful SISTERS and their accomplishments !!!
Easy parking in Kent Park is @ N43 14.623, W77 23.424.
If Schlegel Rd. gate is closed (winter) then there is enough room for a few cars at the gate @ N43 14.475, W77 23.416. This "winter" parking only adds 1000 feet to your journey,
but may be daunting during snow squalls.
Please adhere to all park rules.
