Geocache Description:

This is a lovely ramble on a good track which runs up from Blackford through the Ochills to Glen Devon. This cache is not far along the track coming in from the Glen Devon end, so could be done on its own for those short of time.
Full description on the cache page for Braes of Ogilvie.

A straightforward cache at the bottom of the impressive dam spillway. There is no need to go through the metal gate onto the spillway.
This is the point where the River Devon emerges. For most part of the year there is little water in it and it relies on water coming down the Frandy Burn just past the road bridge.
However a few times a year when there has been flooding, there is an immense and impressive torrent coming down the spillway.

****well done to Carangue for FTF****
