The beach



The cache is located at the Aurinkolahti beach, which former name Mustalahti was changed into Aurinkolahti (=sunbay) in the 90s. The new name is not entirely made up, as statistics show that Aurinkolahti has sunny weather more often than the inland. Aurinkolahti has the longest sandy beach in Helsinki (over 500m, artificial except the east end).
A word of warning: avoid sunny summer days since the beach is crowded with muggles. Bring a pen with you and please replace the cache exactly in the same spot where you found it!

Kätkö sijaitsee Aurinkolahden rannalla, jonka alkuperäinen nimi oli Mustalahti. Nimi muutettiin Aurinkolahdeksi 90-luvulla, eikä uusi nimi ole täysin tuulesta tempaistu, sillä Aurinkolahdessa sää on useasti selkeämpi kuin mantereen puolella. Aurinkolahden hiekkaranta on Helsingin pisin (yli 500m) ja se on itäpäätä lukuunottamatta keinotekoinen.
Vältä kauniita kesäpäiviä, sillä paikka on ääriään myöten täynnä jästejä. Ota kynä mukaan ja ole hyvä ja palauta kätkö täsmälleen samaan kohtaan josta sen löysit!
