Geocache Description:

Helm is an unincorporated community in Fresno County, California. It is located 13 miles south of Kerman, at an elevation of 187 feet. The first post office opened in Helm in 1913. The name is from William Helm, sheep rancher who arrived in 1859. At one point he was the largest sheep herder in the Central Valley, taking his sheep to market in Stockton.

This cache should be a park and grab to take you to parts of Fresno County you would probably never see if it were not for geocaching. This is also a good leg stretcher if you’re headed to or coming back from the central coast. Headed to the coast would put you on the better side of the road to grab the cache.
Log only, BYOP, no room for trading.
