Geocache Description:

Cacheport #108

You may have seen some Challenge Caches based on filling in a grid or a line by using your finds and their difficulty and terrain ratings before. One of the most common is the Fizzy Challenge. But this one does not require you to find 81 caches, only 8. But there is a catch. You can only claim one difficulty rating and one terrain rating with one listing type. Once you use any of them, you cannot repeat! In other words, you cannot use the same difficulty or terrain rating more than once. For example, if you use a Difficulty 1.5 cache, all of your other Difficulty 1.5 finds are ineligible. Similarly, you can only use a listing type once. For example, once you have used a Multi-Cache, all of your other Multi-Cache finds are ineligible. But don't worry, you do get a "Wild Card" that you may use. But you may only use it once! Plan accordingly!

Confused? Perhaps this grid will show you what I mean based on my finds. This also shows that it can be done, but it might take you a little while to organize your data. Difficulty goes top to bottom, Terrain goes left to right.

NOTE: You may not use a Challenge Cache to fill in the 5/5 square.

You do not have to use the same caches as shown above, nor the same layout. The grid above is just an example of one possible solution. As long as each row and column is covered and there are no duplicate listing types, you can log this.

Please send a list of the 8 (or if you are a show off all 9) caches that you found based on the above grid to me through my profile, or make a shared bookmark list. For either I will need to know which cache fills which cell or if you are using the Wild Card.

There is no shame if you cannot log this! But if you can, you truly are one of a small group that may well be more than just a fan of geocaching.

Challenge Caches should be ones that involve some measure of validity and this one is no exception. In order to ensure that the logs on this geocache reflect only those that have met the condition, all others that are invalid may be deleted.

The Cacheport Series: This is cache #108 - Please make sure that you perform your cancellation with your Cacheport book, if you are participating in this optional activity.
