This cache is located in Birchardville, PA at the Birchardville one room school house. Terrain is a 2 because of the hill you need to go up to get to the actual school house.
We are part of the Birchards from Birchardville and this is why we have put this cache where it is. We would like you to learn more about the history of Birchardville and the many people who made this little village what it is. This is a two part cache. The above cordinates take you to Part 1 where you will find the cordinates to the final cache. The final cache is a nice water tight container with lots of School items in it. Please try and keep a school house theme, although you can trade any items you want. Please visit http://www.bseha.com/home.html to learn more about our one room school house. You are not required to visit the site, but it will give you more history into the school, and who attended. Built in 1861, at a cost of $315, this one room school was one of nine one room schools in the Township of Forest Lake, Pennsylvania. Located in Northern Pennsylvania's Susquehanna County, on Route 267, a half mile south of Birchardville, and five and a half miles north of Lawtown, the school has been turned into a museum. The museum is managed by the Birchardville School Historical and Educational Association. *Congrats to jingles2 for being FTF*
