Geocache Description:

Kaishu Katsu's bronze statue

It was built for Edo open 400 years as part of a private business on July 21, 2003.
Two bronze statues of Kaishu Katsu who stands in the local Sumidagawa running and of Takeaki Enomoto undertake the feeling with deep connection.
Takeaki that makes an effort to person and Edo bloodless surrendering though it is the same shogun's retainer and guided sea boat thought that remark of Boshin War afterwards is patronage satsuma faction and Hakodate war that is fight at the shogun's retainer end.
It is the same, and it is ....base of the learning naval forces.. for the end of shogunate Dutch learning, and it is regrettable that it is not a place. be known too much at the present age extend to foreign countries similarly, advance on a quite different road though it is a leading position of the shogunate after it returns home, and made the conflicting one age

The view from the terrace that exists in nearby Sumida Ward Office is recommended at the season of cherry blossoms.
