Geocache Description:

Should be fairly easy to find (assuming my coordinates are ok), but there are a number of fallen trees to climb over (under). There are also a couple of wet areas to transverse close to the cache (bring suitable boots).

Enjoy this nice 1/2 mile hike along an old trail from the parking lot at N 47 26.216 W 122 05.651 to the outlet of Spring Lake.

Spring Lake is fed by underground springs and has no inlet and a single outlet. It used to be named Otter Lake and the area around here was owned by the Spring family.

This is one of my favorite trails in the area. Please enjoy the solitude and spend some time exploring the nearby sites. There are beavers and some blue herons at the outlet.

Reduced terrain difficulty from 4 to 2.5 based on feedback (thank you).

Congratulations to RunsWithGoldens on the FTF.
