Geocache Description:

A decon on the new Seneca Cayuga Canal Trail.

Foursum has just completed his year as Commander of the Iroquois Sail and Power Squadron and another member has taken over as Commander. So foursum is now the Past Commander!

This container is from Captain Jon’s Christmas Cache at the 4h Camp event in June. It contains a logbook, pencil, a few NYS Safe Boating pins and, for FTF, an orange life jacket floating key chain.

You may have a chance to see what happens to old boats as you hike the trail- the wooden ones rot away and the fiberglass ones will last forever.

Be sure to say hi to Past Commander foursum if you see him on Seneca Lake on his boat, coincidentally named Four Sum.
