Located just off of the 'Ten Mile Wash'. Very nice, 4wd through a scenic wash. Not sure why there aren't more caches along here, but now there are!
Slightly challenging climb, wear appropriate shoes. Once you get close to GZ, the cache site should be pretty obvious. Nice views from the cache.
I originally placed this cache container in the 4 Peaks area, in Mar/08. When I was preparing for it to be published, I realized it was only 200 ft. from another cache! I didn't have that cache in my GPS at the time, so I thought mine was 'safe'. Alas, it wasn't published because it was too close to a cache already published. So, it sat, unpublished. I finally was able to retreive the container, just a few of weeks ago, 11/09. I thought this was a fitting place to put a new cache.
In my excitement and fear for how I was going to get down from this cache, I forgot to change the 'Placed By' date on the log book. (I had it filled out from my prior placement on 4 Peaks), and I would appreciate if the FTFinder would change the placed by date to 12-26-09 when they log their find.
Watch out for desert critters!
