Easy cache and dash off of CO 160.
This cache is named for the housing area across the highway. m4fun visits there often.
The terrain rating is a four because of the dangerous highway. Please park in the turn off to the east and DO NOT leave your children unattended. PLEASE keep your dog leashed. Traffic slings by at speeds of 65 and up. Be safe.
If there is a lot of snow on the ground, it will add to the challenge.
Other that that, this should be a pretty quick stop. Enjoy the view of the Spanish Peaks to the south.

Worth mentioning is nearby Lathrop State Park along US 160. Lathrop State Park, part of the Colorado State Park system, offers full hookup camping in the summer, boating, fishing, hiking, golf, and GEOCACHING! There are a number of great caches and activities at Lathrop worth the entrance fee.
