Hill of Stake is a hill on the boundary between North Ayrshire and Renfrewshire, Scotland. It is 522 metres (1712 feet) high and is one of the Marilyns of Lowland Scotland.
It is the highest point of the relatively low-lying county of Renfrewshire and indeed the entire Clyde Muirshiel Regional Park of which it is a part.
There are lots of ways to get to the hill but probably the easiest is from Muirshiel country park, following the track up to the old mines and then heading up to the hill. Whichever way you come in it will involve a bit of a hike over rough terrain so, as the saying goes, be prepared. Once there the views are brilliant so choose a good day, if you can.
The cache is a medium sized clip-lock box and should be easy to find.
