It's not the top of Wintergreen Mountain, but you're almost there! This smaller "Small" cache is a tupperware-style container the size of one of those yummy pudding packs I used to get in my lunch. Is large enough for most Geocoins, and is a P & G!
Nothing fancy about this cache, I just always thought Wintergreen Drive should have a cache and this is the only place with feasible parking. Enjoy the P & G and the nice little smiley face!
A bit of history about this spot... when the Devil's Knob Golf Course needed a new Pro-Shop, they had to have a temporary one (a fancy trailer, basically) trucked up the mountain. Except the first one didn't make it up the mountain, it fell off the mountain right where you'll find this cache. The guard rail was missing for a few weeks. Scary! Thankfully they finished that project years ago and you can now enjoy the lovely new Pro-Shop, or stop by the Devil's Grill for a yummy lunch or dinner.
Oh, and I wouldn't want to be on the side of this road in a wheelchair... but it is technically wheelchair accessible!
Original contents of the cache are the log and a Geocoin that is in a race with another Geocoin that I placed in a cache elsewhere on the mountain the same time.
