This non-winter friendly cache is located near Garden Creek Falls, west of Fredericton NB. Access the area by travelling TCH 2 west from Fredericton. Park at your discretion along the highway. See trail head coords below. It is an approx 200m trek one way from the trail head with a moderately steep portion to get down to the creek. There are several good viewing locations, but be mindful that rock outcrops and ledges can be unstable. The cache is on the west side of the creek.
I was surprised to learn of this small waterfall from a friend. Neither he or I knew where the falls were so I set out on a snowy day today to find them. I hiked a little over 2 kms along the east branch of Garden Creek which is just east of here with no luck. It was a quick trek to the falls once I was on the right branch of the creek.
