Loreto is a lovely fishing village (really more of a city) that once served as the capitol of Baja California South
We made the drive down (again) for the New Year's in 2009/10, and did some caching along the way. noticing a total dearth of caches in this wonderfyul town, we put one up near the main Highway 1 in a small median park. Magentic Altoids tin hidden out of sight. A small magnet outside shows the way
Even if you don't plan to stay here, gas up, get a bite to eat, drive around and see what there is to see.....
