Geocache Description:

People hike, bike, and run in these hills and trails. This cache is not for everyone. It requires a certain physical ability, but is not strenuous. There are plenty of dirt trails to get you there. This is an open area so keep an eye out for those critters that live in these types of areas: ticks, snakes, coyotes, etc

ONCE AGAIN THE WETHER HAS TAKEN ITS TOLL ON THE FLAG...IT IS DOWN BUT THE CACHE IS STILL THERE....If you can find where Ol’ Glory proudly flies on top of one these hills, then you can find this cache. When you get there admire both the flag and the view across the valley. This is our first cache hide. We have hiked these small hills for a few years with the kids and when we discovered Geocaching, there was no doubt that we needed to put one in this open area. Parking can be tricky. Here are two spots where you can park and jump onto a trial that will lead you in the right direction. First is on Wildlife Lane just west of Quail Hill Drive (N 33*50.953 W 117*31.651) and the second is on Laurel Canyon Way ( N 33*51.489 W 117*31.982).The cache itself is a rocky situation. You should find some SWAG. Have fun. We did. :)
