This cache is relatively easy.. Care should be taken not to use a vehicle with very low ground clearance, as the road is graded with home made equipment, and there are some rocky stretches. (Your Lamborghini Countage will not do!!)As this is close to the Kruger Park, and as the elephant breaks through the fences all the time, keep a lookout for mainly elephant, buffalo, leopard. They do roam freely here. If you do not believe this, look at the droppings on the track., and even on the tarmac road leading from town. You may alight from your vehicle whereever you like on this land.
The cache is obvious once in the area. Remember this is snake country also, so be careful.
The road ends 700m further, where one can easily turn around in the parking lot at Khumbako. Anyone is welcome to have a refreshing drink at the pub at the end of the road.
The cache is a Tupper Ware container with a green lid. Inside a stashnote, logbook, pencil, whisstle, rubber washer, John Deere tin.
From Phalaborwa, you will need to put aside at least one hour to complete this cache and get back to Phalaborwa again. Enjoy!
