Dopo oltre un mese dalla mia nota, non ho ricevuto alcuna risposta nè visto alcuna modifica.
Se non lo hai ancora fatto, per favore raccogli ogni eventuale resto del cache al più presto possibile. Se hai intenzione di intervenire sul cache, una volta completata l'operazione per favore lasciatemi un messaggio con il numero waypoint GC relativo al cache. Sarò più che lieto di verificare nuovamente il cache per verificare la sua conformità con le linee guida.

ITALIANO

I Giardini Estensi sono una parte importante della città di Varese. Insieme al Palazzo Estense formavano la residenza estiva e autunnale di Francesco III d’Este, duca di Modena e signore di Varese. Questi giardini sono molto visitati durante l’anno e offrono una bellavista sopra Varese, i laghi e le montagne circostanti.

Questo geocache ti condurrà ad una passeggiata nei giardini, ma diversamente dal tipico multicache dovrai seguire le istruzioni invece che cercare le coordinate. Ovviamente per le coordinate iniziali un GPS sarebbe utile. Ci sono aree gioco per i bambini e punti panoramici quindi buon divertimento. Se sei in un gruppo con un passeggino potrai trovare percorsi alternativi a quasi tutte le scale per poi riunirti al resto del gruppo che starà comunque seguendo il percorso indicato.

Il cache è un contenitore tipo tupperware grande più o meno come un panino per hamburger e contiene: logbook, matita, un giochino a forma di vampiro, una candela, un anello, e due travelbug. I giardini si popolano molto in bella stagione quindi fai attenzione.

IL PERCORSO

* dal punto iniziale entra dal cancello centrale e gira a destra;
* segui il sentiero fino a un’apertura tra gli alberi a sinistra e attraversala;
* vai dritto lungo questo sentiero coperto dagli alberi finché non giungi un’apertura;
* gira a destra e entra nella radura;
* qui prendi il sentiero che passa tra la casetta di legno e i giochi per i bambini;
* segui il sentiero e ammira i cigni o le papere;
* sali dai gradini vicini (in direzione della torre dell’orologio);
* al bivio, prendi il sentiero tra i grandi alberi;
* alla panchina di pietra sotto agli alberi vai verso la linea di X di legno;
* scendi i gradini più lontani dalla torre dell’orologio e gira a destra;
* quando trovi dell’acqua girale intorno in senso orario fino a vedere davanti a te il punto di partenza;
* vai dritto alla tua destra e entra attraverso un’apertura su un sentiero coperto dagli alberi, notando la freccia rossa al suo ingresso;
* segui il sentiero nella direzione di questa freccia;
* passa un albero cavo alla tua destra;
* segui il sentiero verso l’alto e quando arrivi ad un bivio, scegli il sentiero che continua sotto gli alberi;
* passa un camino a forma di torre alla tua sinistra, delle scale sempre a sinistra, e un’apertura a destra;
* quando alzando lo sguardo vedi una torre scendi le scale verso un cancello di ingresso;
* segui il sentiero e gira dietro l’edificio con le finestra circolare seguendo la strada acciottolata;
* arrivi a tre possibili vie: non prendere né quella con il lampione né quella con l’albero cavo;
* passa tra due aree con tavoli e panche e al bivio scegli il sentiero che non porta verso nessun edificio;
* prosegui, ignora il sentiero con le X di legno, e gira in senso anti orario intorno all’albero fino al sentiero parallelo alla serra;
* seguilo e gira dietro l’edificio;
* attraversa le rotaie e cerca una struttura circolare di mattoni rossi;
* trova la porta e con essa alle tue spalle fai qualche passo verso l’albero con la croce;
* girati e cerca 3 panchine;
* scendi le scale vicine a questo e cerca “a048” in bianco sul fondo blu… qui vicino troverai ciò che cerchi!

ENGLISH

The Estensi Gardens are a central part of Varese. Together with the Estensi Palace they formed the summer-autumn residence and court of Francesco III d’Este, Duke of Modena and Lord of Varese. They are a popular place to visit throughout the year and offer some lovely views over Varese and the surrounding lakes and mountains.

This geocache will take you on a trail through the gardens, however unlike a typical multicache you will have to follow the instructions below to lead you around. Of course for the starting co-ordinates a GPS would be helpful. There are places for children to play and viewpoints along the way so enjoy yourselves! If you are in a group with a pushchair you can find alternative routes to most of the stairs that will join up to the trail indicated by the instructions, however someone of course will need to follow that trail.

The geocache is a tupperware-style box the size of a hamburger with a logbook, pencil, vampire toy, ring, and a couple of geocoins. The gardens become very popular at times so be cautious.

THE TRAIL

* from the starting point pass through the middle set of gates and turn to the right;
* follow the path until you find an opening in the trees on your left and pass through;
* follow this tree-covered trail straight until you arrive at an opening;
* turn right and head to a clearing;
* in the clearing, choose the path between the wooden house and the children toys;
* follow the path and admire the swans or ducks;
* take the nearby steps (towards the clock tower) and head upwards;
* at the fork, take the path between the tall trees;
* pass under the tree cover and head towards the line of X’s;
* take the steps (away from the clock tower) and turn right;
* when you arrive at water follow the path around it clockwise until you face your starting point;
* head right and pass through the opening to the tree covered path, taking note of the direction of the red arrow;
* follow the path in the direction of the red arrow;
* pass a hollow tree on your right;
* follow the path upwards and when you arrive at a fork, choose the path that continues under the trees;
* pass a chimney on your left, stairs on your left, and then an opening on your right;
* when, looking up you can see a tower, take the stairs and head towards the nearest set of gates;
* follow the path towards and behind the round-windowed building following the cobbled path;
* you will find three possible paths: don’t take the path with the lamppost or with the tree with a hole;
* pass between two areas with tables and benches and at the crossroad don’t take any path that leads towards a building;
* ignore the crossed path and follow the path anti-clockwise around the tree until you arrive at the path parallel to the greenhouse;
* follow it behind to the back of the building;
* cross the train tracks and look for a circular red brick structure;
* find the door and with your back to it, head to the crossed tree;
* turn around and search for 3 benches;
* follow the winding stairs nearby and search for the white on blue “a048” sign… on the other side you will find that which you are looking for!
