Years ago, this ballfield was used frequently. As time went on, the youngsters found alternatives and this ballfield lives on primarily through memories like those of one young man who played shortstop. His parents loved to watch him play on those warm summer nights.
Naturally, he grew up and drifted away from the sport he loved so much; however, he never let his love for the sport fade. Thus, when his time came, he decided to haunt his favorite ballfield. Perhaps you will feel his presence guide you to the cache? Then again, maybe not.
At certain times, muggles can be quite numerous. Consider trying for this cache at another time if that is the case. Paved parking is within about 400 feet. No reason to approach from the creek.
Yup, those coordinates are right on the money. You are looking for a small, cylinder type container that could easily hold 8 double A batteries. Now, get to work and think outside the strike-zone! (No digging required! No reason to disturb the bases either.)
