jeepthangjim: Sorry. I've been too busy to really do anything lately. I'm just going to archive it so someone else can use the space if they choose.

Geocache Description:

Congrats to jtlucket for the FTF!

This is intended to be a real easy cache. I want the experience to be because of the location not the hunt. I highly recommend that you visit this cache on a night with a clear sky if at all possible. This is not because of muggles but because the view will be much more spectacular.

I want you to be able to experience what a few of the students get to experience every year and to visit one of the most historic locations on campus. I wanted to make this a very family friendly experience. This is not the original cache container. The old one wore out so I replaced it with a different kind of container. This is the note that I put in the original cache:

"Welcome to the Doorknob to the Universe! It's a small tradition for some upperclassmen here on campus to blindfold participants, typically freshmen, and take them on a trip around Oxford ultimately ending up at the cache location. The whole point of driving them around Oxford blindfolded is to get them lost and hopefully build their tension. Once they arrive at the Door knob they ask the participants to stand with their heels against the concrete slab, cross their arms in front of them, and fall backwards. Most times they refuse to do this so a gentle push is good enough to freak them out. Once they realize they have only fallen back about a foot or so and calm down they are instructed to remove their blindfold and look up while standing with their back against the tower. You will not have to be blindfolded, driven around Oxford, asked to do something you probably wouldn't want to do however I encourage you to stand with your back against the tower and look up. It's a pretty cool sight especially at night."

Please remember to put the cache back exactly as you have found it so other people can enjoy the cache too. Also please make sure the cap on the cache is secure to ensure the log stays dry. You must bring your own pen and you will have to roll the log up tight to get it back in the tube. The string is to help remove the log so make sure it's at the top of the tube once the log is replaced so the next person can get it out.

The coordinates may be a little off on this cache. It's very difficult to get an accurate reading here due to all the metal. A lot of people have said the coordinates put them at the fence but the cache is NOT at the fence. The name of the cache is the biggest indication of where it's located. I HOPE YOU ENJOY THIS CACHE!!!!!!!!
