[PL] Zapraszamy na spacer po chorzowskim parku, podczas którego
znalezc bedzie mozna nasza skrzynke ukryta przy Stadionie
Slaskim.
Jego budowa zakonczyla sie w 1956, a od 1993 nazywany jest równiez
Narodowym, mimo ze reprezentacja Polski juz wczesniej rozgrywala na
nim mecze. Byl nie tylko arena zmagan pilkarskich czy zuzlowych,
ale i estrada wielkich wydarzen muzyczno - rozrywkowych.Na
Stadionie Slaskim wystapily m.in. takie zespoly jak U2, Iron
Maiden, Metallica czy Rolling Stones.
W ubieglym roku odbyly sie tutaj jedyne w Polsce i Europie zawody
Monster Jam.
Obecnie stadion jest przebudowywany.
Kiedy swoja skrzynke umieszczaly tutaj Saraceny, wszyscy mielismy
nadzieje ze bedzie on równiez miejscem, gdzie odbywac beda sie
mecze EURO 2012. Dzisiaj juz wiemy, ze tak nie bedzie, a teraz
pozostaje jedynie cien nadziei. Samo miejsce jest dla naszego
zespolu równiez sentymentalne, bowiem skrzynka Narodowy Stadion
Slaski Saracenów, to byla nasza pierwsza tradycyjna skrzynka, jaka
znalezlismy bawiac sie w geocaching.
[EN] We would like to invite you to take a walk through park
in Chorzow, and during that walk you can find our cache hidden near
Silesian Stadium.
It construction was finished in 1956, and since 1993 is also called
National, although Polish team has played soccer games earlier,
than 1993.
The stadium was not only an arena of soccer or speedway games, but
also a stage for great music and entertainment events.
Here played such groups like: U2, Iron Maiden, Metallica, Rolling
Stones.
Last year, here, for the first time in Poland end Europe - Monster
Jam event took place.
Currently the stadium is during reconstruction.
When the cache was here placed by Saracen_team placed here a cache,
we all had hope that it will be a place where games of EURO 2012
will be. Today, we know that it won’t be so, as the games
will be carried in other Polish and Ukrainian cities. There is
still a bitof hope… The place is also sentimental for us,
because the Saracen’s cache Narodowy Stadion Slaski, was the
first traditional cache, we found during our playing
geocaching.
