Purple Cocker Spaniel Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

rollinginthecache: I have decided to archve all my caches until I'm a bit more knowledgeable in this sport. I have tried in vain, thinking I knew, but I don't. SO, thanks for all the feedback - it has made me wiser. I am doing this out of respect for the Geocaching community, as the community is based on morals and standards; both of which I am not respecting by "thinking" I know what I'm doing. I am going seeking first, as well as reviewing important message board posts, before placing my next cache. All items in the 2 caches will be moved along into the next cache I find.

Take care, and sorry for being irresponsible. I will re-hide again when I am not a newbie!

I am also looking for someone, or a group(s) who can teach me how to cache better. If you can help, by bringing me along for a hunt or by giving information on groups/events, let me know via email at geo.caching@hotmail.com.

Thanks and happy hunting.

How Geocaching Works

Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

Geocache Description:

A small cache which is dog-gone-easy to find, and gives a great city view!

Stealth required during work hours (9am-5pm) due to the proximity of office windows; however this cache can be sought any time.

This easy to find cache won't leave you running around in circles to find.
Located close to the Glenmore Inn in SE Calgary, this cache is great for travellers.

While you're in the area, I suggest heading to the North side of the hotel (the hotel entrance). Within meters North, there is a hill where you can go to get a view of our beautiful city. Although not a requirement of this cache, I would love to see your photos uploaded, both of the cache and of the city view.
Please DO NOT TAKE/TRADE the collar or tin box,as these are important for the cache...you'll see why when you find it. To remove the bag, simply unlatch the dog collar. Restrooms in the hotel. Common transit routes are 24, 72/73, 302.
