El cache esta situado en el rio chicamo sus aguas discurren parapetadas por la garganta del Cagel, sobre terreno de arenisca fosilizada, que el tiempo y la erosión se han encargado de excavar y moldear a capricho.Para llegar al cache deberemos seguir un sendero PR (pequeño recorrido) con líneas blancas y amarillas. Tanto por un extremo(la cabecera), como por el otro(La umbria,) es fácil de localizar este oasis en el paisaje casi desértico que lo rodea. El trayecto a seguir discurre entre los sedimentos que otro cauce fluvial depositó hace 10-7 Ma. (millones de años) al desaguar en el mar Mediterraneo que en aquella época llegaba hasta esta zona.
Dado que en algunos tramos hay que cruzar por el curso del río, siempre con agua, se debe ir provisto del calzado adecuado o llevar un par de repuesto.
Deambular solo lo imprescindible por el cauce para causar el menor daño posible al ecosistema acuático.
No dejar restos de basura en la zona y respetar la fauna, flora y gea.
Abandonar la zona en caso de lluvias intensas.
Las coordenadas no son precisas debido a la úbicación ,la recepción de señal es baja dentro de la garganta.
