This is my contribution to the UTNG Lame Pathetic
Cache series.
Take a train, bus, or car to the Escondido Transit Center, and then
walk or bike the paved Inland Rail Trail about a third of a
mile to the cache. Follow the trail signs across the bridge near
the access point. If you reach a railroad crossing or Quince
St, you went the wrong way and should turn back.
THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO REASON TO TRESPASS OR CLIMB
FENCES!
The most ironic thing about the cache is the sign near the access
point that says bike trail closed at dusk. (The sign may just be
referring to the Escondido Creek Bike Path, which intersects the
Inland Rail Trail at the bridge near the access point, but access
may still be blocked. There are other access points, but I like
this one.)
