Calera Creek Crossing Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Wood_Rat: Well, it’s finally come to the point where I cannot physically maintain my caches in a timely manner. I am unable to get out of the house since mid-July due to medical reasons and things won’t be changing anytime soon.

So, I am going to archive my caches and make these spots available.

If you are going to adopt a location, please send me a note and I’ll give you spoilers so that you can remove my old container. I just cannot physically do it any longer.

Thanks for Hunting!

Geocache Description:

My first alliteration cache! This is a crossing used by locals to get to Roger Yee Fields as well as by mugglets on their way to and from school. You can sometimes see Egrets, mallards, and even geese in this area. There are some feral rabbits here but they usually prefer the other side of the fields.

If you're caching by bike, be warned that this area is notorious for Goat Head thorns -- a particularly nasty thorn that will flatten all but the best tires.

Congratulations to Xklondike for FTF!

Happy Hunting!
