What's Your Streak? Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

QSeekers: If someone who has placed a single cache can write a "Need Maintenance" and the reviewer disables the cache - then there is way too much overhead to play the game anymore.

Geocache Description:

Everybody has some sort of streak, what is yours?

This cache is inspired by MOC and FTF challenges by Catoz.

Background
We loved following along as so many of you went for the FTF challenge and the Month of Caches challenge. Congratulations to all of you who have completed them and to those of you who are working on them.
These are a couple of challenges we may never complete, we are more "weekend binge cachers". But the MOC challenge got us thinking, maybe we don’t have a month of caches streak, but I think we have a "month of weekends" streak.

So QGirl and I sat down and went over our data to see how many consecutive weekends (that is Saturday and/or Sunday) we have found at least one geocache. It turns out that since August 26, 2007 we have found at least one geocache on every weekend! As of January 10, 2010 that is 125 consecutive weekends and counting. (Turns out we only missed 2 weekends in 2007 and an embarrassing 4 in 2006! Like I said, we are weekend binge cachers).

So what is your Streak?
OK, so what were we to do with all this data? Well, we thought we would make a cache where you can tell us about your best streak, doesn't really matter what it is, just do a little horn tooting! Maybe you have a streak of 10 or more mystery caches, or you had a streak of 63 days of consecutive caching. It doesn’t matter, just give us your best streak, past or present, and in your log tell us about it. (Of course this is completely optional - we just thought we'd give you the chance to do a little bragging!)

About the Cache
The cache is a small 2-cup round lock-n-lock on the Stowe Pinnacle trail. It’s kinda the warm-up to New Year's Resolution 2010. The cache is about 0.5 miles from the parking which is on Upper Hollow Road at N44 26.322 W72 40.052. The elevation gain is a gradual 500 feet.
