Seeley Creek Trailhead has two parking areas. The one to the left (if you are driving from the highway) is open year round. Traffic is now one way to the parking area. From highway 83 take the further entry point.
Available at this trailhead are cross country skiing and, in the summer, mountain biking on trails with map posts at the intersections. On the other side of the road, snowmobilers and dogsled teams share the trails. To go with the theme of this key to winter sports, the cache, in a small lock-to-lock container, contains an assortment of keychains. At the foot of the slope is an array of bones, from hunters tossing their trimmings down from the road. I interrupted ravens as I left after placing the cache. Update: Brush was cleared from the area several years ago and the cache location is now in view of the road and parking area.
