An easy walk from either end of a byway; though the river end of the path can become very muddy when wet. This is a cache that might tempt Littlecombe Ringers to swing up onto Scratchbury Hill via Heytsbury & Norton Bavant. Cache is small plastic container containing minilog and assortment of small items.
Closest parking, particularly if planning a Scratchbury loop, which is a nice 6 miler with a break at a choice of hostelries in Heytsbury, is in Duck Street, Sutton Veny close to St Leonard's church. Alternative approach, if not averse to some mud or in dry conditions, is to park where Sutton Veny road passes under A36.
