Geocache Description:

A well hidden micro, slightly smaller than a match tube. Bring a pen.

"Into every park, a little cache must fall" G P Cachefellow.

Welcome to Vista Park, at the north end of the Bob Sykes Bridge. Newly refurbished after Hurricane Ivan, it is a popular spot for pier fishing. Consisting of a short wooden pier, and a substantial length of the old Pensacola Beach bridge, it has plenty of room for anglers. It is also heavy with mugglers just about any time of day or any season, so be careful to protect the cache. Bring your pole and see what's catching.

The cache is a basic micro with log ( bring a pen) hidden in the park at the coordinates. Because you are surrounded by thousands of tons of rebar and concrete, your GPS will probably act up. Don't worry though, your geo-senses will carry the day for your smiley. Even though there are lots of muggles, they tend to fish mostly further out on the bridge, so they shouldn't be much of a problem except when actually passing by..

While it is perfectly safe to walk or bike across the main bridges if you stay in the bike lanes (best way to go to PB on Blue Angels days), the cache is not ON the traffic bridges, so you do not have to cross traffic or search the TOP of the TRAFFIC bridges. You get to the fishing bridge and coordinates by crossing UNDER the main bridges from the west side..

This is a great place for sunsets, and currently there are no time restrictions -- it is available 24/7.

Replace it in the same position it was (or should be -- see note) please.
