This cache is located next to an OLD shack of a house that has been standing for many years in this area of the North Carlina piedmont.
This house is a bit eerie sitting in the woods all by itself. You MUST follow the path I set for you to enter this cache area, as everything around it is private property. Use the designated parking waypoint, and walk along the road to the 'halfway' waypoint (be careful, there is not much room along the side of this road and people will fly around corners). The second waypoint is where you will walk into the woods. There is a visible gateway with a path into the woods. Follow the beaten path until you reach a wide clearing. Once here, you may follow your GPS to the house, and the cache location.
It has been said that someone was once murdered here long ago. I do not know anything of the family that lived here, or what happened to them, but the house is creepy on its own. These days, it is just a rickity shack with trash and destroyed furniture inside.
When attempting this cache, be wary of all the outdoor nasties, as they can all be present at this location. As I've mentioned before, follow my path as to not trespass on private property.
