Der cache an sich ist leicht zu finden, der Weg ist eine ca. 3,5 stündige Angelegenheit (ca. 1080 hm). Im Sommer auf einer Forststrasse/ Wanderweg, im Winter eine schöne, südseitige Skitour.
This cache is easy to find when you are right there, the way up is a ca. 3,5 hour hike (ca. 1080 alt. m). In summer you can walk up a gravel way that turns into a trail, in winter it is a great randonnee tour facing south.
Ganz wichtig und bitte beachten!! Unser cache liegt oberhalb der Baumgrenze und ist schon eine richtige Berg- bzw. Skitour. Bitte denkt an adäquate Ausrüstung (wetterfeste Kleidung, Brotzeit, im Winter komplette Skitourenausrüstung) und ans Einholen von Wetter- und Lawineninformationen!
Der Start zu unserem cache ist Obernberg am Brenner (N 47°00.804', E11°24.638'). Zunächst geht es ein Stück in den Talschluss, bis am Ende der Fahrstrasse in Richtung N eine Forststrasse abzweigt (Nr. 126). Dieser Strasse folgt man bis zur Kasten Alm (1743m) und hält sich an der nächsten Abzweigung an den Wanderweg in Richtung Lichtsee/ Trunajoch. Ab hier ist die Rötenspitze angeschrieben. Vom Lichtsee dann westwärts abbiegen, ab hier liegt der Gipfel schon in Sichtweite. Und das Versteck ist, sommer-und wintertauglich, gar nicht schwer zu finden!
Please notice: our cache is located far above the timberline. Please do always make sure that you have the right equipment with you (weatherproof clothes, snacks and enough beverages, in winter complete randonnee equipment) and don't forget to check the weather forecast or the avalanche bulletin!!
The start is located in Obernberg/ Brenner (N47°00.804', E11°24.638'). First you follow the road into the valley until it stops, turn northward on the way no 126 to Kasten Alm (1743m). Next "crossroad" you turn north to Lichtsee/ Trunajoch. Rötenspitze is written on the signs from here on. At the Lichtsee you turn west and follow the path to Rötenspitze, you can see the peak from here. Well there you won't need to work hard on finding the cache since it is weatherproof!
