Geocache Description:

This GeoCache means a lot to me and it's right in front of where my heart belongs the most. This is an easy cache (as it is my first) but it is meant to touch your heart just a bit. I'm going to call this one...

"Pet Caching":

-When you claim this cache your pets can claim it to! They don't have to be present when you find it but you are their voice! So speak up and claim it in their name! So beside your name, you can log theirs too! If you don't have pets then claim it for those loved and lost. (Ex: "In memory of...").

*Also, finders are strongly encouraged to leave a note (in the cache) with a short story about a pet that has touched your life or the lives of others. (As this becomes more popular I'm planning on making the cache larger and turning these stories into a scrap book for future GeoCachers to read)

If you're not an animal lover than please be respectful to those of us that are....

****3/20/10 Just to reassure everyone - The staff members here at the shelter DO know about this Geocache and are aware of the "rules of the game". While we do love watching cachers on the hunt, we do prefer that you come during our regular business hours or at least during daylight. If you're lucky one of us might pop out and give you a hint or two ;-)
