Geocache Description:

OK, the first word of the name is pronounced pro (with an ‘ah’) with the emphasis on the first syllable. The second word is pronounced pro (with an ‘oh’) with the emphasis on the second syllable. This is not a cache for the inexperienced or the faint hearted…..well, anyway, here goes:
Coordinates will take you to a large cannon overlooking the Savannah River. Entry to this historic site, well worth visiting, is 6$ per person, $5.50 for AAA members, elderly etc.. You can only access the site between the hours of 9 AM to 5 PM. Around 40 feet from the cannon is a historic marker concerning a Shell Magazine. You will be using the year in the header (the one with no zeros in it) for your calculations. Taking the first three digits, add 83 to get the degrees. Example: IF the year was 1920, you would be adding 83 to 192. Now add 4305 to the year to get the number of feet. Back at the cannon, using the results of your calculations, you will PROJECT the waypoint of the final. It should get you within 40 feet of a well concealed, medium lock ‘n lock container. A tip of the hat to GoJim for inspiring this lunacy.
Getting there will be part of the adventure, cause you sure aren’t going to get there from where you are! There is a gen-u-wine 20 Dollar Gold Confederate coin for the FTF!
p.s. This is NOT a hydrocache!
